Our Hervey Bay Home Care Service is looking for a passionate Senior Service Team Leader, to fill this varied full-time (Monday to Friday) position.
You will play a pivotal role in developing and supporting our teams friendly field officers and create a lasting impact within our team.
Working closely with the Service Manager, your role will be fundamental in building our teams for success, now and into the future.
Primarily overseeing the coordination and delivery of care to our communities, you create the space for our teams to enable clients to live the best life they can.
If you are looking for a rewarding role that has a positive impact on the lives of seniors, this might be the right opportunity for you.In this role some of the responsibilities include:Organising, conducting and documenting the planning, provision and assessment of community services for high and/or complex client care needs while identifying and organising clinical support.Maintaining client and employee compliance with contractual and legislative obligations; supervising and liaising with the business support team to ensure implementation of efficient rosters and work schedules with appropriate staffing levels and skills/qualification mix to enable effective provision of services.Assisting to lead the day-to-day operations and outcomes of the service area.Supervising and mentoring staff; ensuring adequate resourcing of equipment and staffing levels.Assisting to deliver the volunteer program.Promoting the service within the catchment area while identifying opportunities for expansion.
What you can bring to the teamYou will bring a strong leadership background from the care, health or service sectors and be able to demonstrate how they align to our mission and values through lived examples.
Always considering the rights of the client, you work to ensure quality and safe care services are delivered.
You are able to identify customer requirements and re-align services in response to identified needs.Your experience and qualifications for the role should include:A certificate IV in Home and Community Care (or equivalent).Ability to multi task and operate in a moderately high-pressure environment Team WorkExperience in Home Care or Aged Care sector.Case Management ExperienceExperience in leading and supporting a service delivery team Completion of HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication and HLTAAP001 Recognise healthy body system.Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role.Possess a current First Aid and CPR Certificate.Current Australian Driver's Licence and your own comprehensively insured vehicle.Applied knowledge of current aged care legislation, funding mechanisms, government policies, and statutory regulations.Prior experience in a customer service driven role with a sales background would be highly desirable.Be energetic, dynamic, supportive,Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Unconditional Love, Continual Innovation, Mutual Trust, Wise Stewardship and Safety.
