Job Description How will I help?
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Service Engineer within the Secure Network Services (SNS) team within the Technology division.
This position will work closely with the customer engagement team, network architecture team, engineering, build and run teams.
This position plays an important technical support role in fronting customer engagements, you will lead direct interactions with stakeholders to confirm and recommend networking solutions to ensure user requirements are understood and appropriately translated into infrastructure requirements.
The core responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Primary responsibility will be to lead high-level Network Security Technical Design for SNS and business Project engagements.
This involves reviewing customer requests, providing recommendations of the network design outputs, and providing appropriately translated customer outcomes into infrastructure requirements.Assist in providing design input for the infrastructure delivery requirements.Within this role you will be providing customers technical support with data discovery & analysis, review of network designs, process documents, and providing input in the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions and support to delivery groups.Develop and influence relationships with all stakeholders, acting as the key point of contact for Technical Consultations to ensure customer requirements are understood and outcomes delivered meet the needs of the customer.Collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure solution designs meet networking standards.What's in it for me?

What do I need?
Essential:
In-depth technical networking experience - 5+ years.Prior work experience in large organizations supporting complex networks - 5+ years.Vendor certification: CCNA, JNCIA or F5 201.Strong technical knowledge of Network Security Firewalls (Juniper high-end SRX, CheckPoint, NSX, Fortigate), Load Balancing (F5 - LTM, GTM, APM, ASM) and Switching and Routing (BGP/OSPF, VXLAN, VTP, etc), Crypto PKI and DNS.Strong understanding of web proxy and reverse proxy.Solid understanding of Cloud networking Azure/AWS.Proven experience of working in a project and operational role, incorporating planning, implementation, operational management and build and configuration.
Advanced analysis, and hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting experience of network issues.Desirable:
Vendor certification: CCNP or F5 301 or JNCIA.Good understanding of WAN technologies as SD-WAN and MPLS.Good understanding of Automation platforms and Orchestration Tools.A general understanding of ITIL processes (particularly change management) and ServiceNow.Hands on familiarity with MongoDB, Jenkins, Terraform, Solarwinds and Elastic.Capabilities: Strong ownership and customer focused mindset.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Collaborative work and team ethic and be self-driven.Strong and influential communicator with technical and business contacts.What is it like to work there?
