They will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience and service delivery. This role requires a combination of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
As such, the ideal candidate will not only be a hands-on practitioner with deep expertise in UX/service design but also a thought leader with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You should be versatile and proficient across a wide range of user experience practices.
Key duties and responsibilities: Facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with stakeholders and users.Work with others to create and maintain design artefacts including service blueprints, journey maps, and prototypes.Use contemporary UCD approaches to elicit and replay information in formats consumable by business stakeholders and system users.Work with Business and System Analysts to create artefacts for technical design work.Collaborate with UX/UI and Accessibility staff.Represent the voice of the user in delivery or maintenance teams.Mentor and coach less experienced staff.Essential Criteria: Demonstrated experience doing and leading Service Design/UX work in an enterprise setting dealing with complex business problems with proficiency across a wide range of user experience practices.Demonstrated experience translating high-level requirements and desired business outcomes into design principles, journey maps, personas, service blueprints, interaction flows, and artefacts to deliver innovative, consistent, and highly usable services.Demonstrated effectiveness in stakeholder engagement and communication with empathy for end-users and stakeholders from business, policy, or IT.Demonstrated experience using collaboration approaches and tools such as Miro and Figma.Knowledge of or experience with:The DTA Service Design and Delivery Process.
The DTA Digital Service Standard.
Agile delivery including SCRUM and SAFe.
Qualitative user research methods.
User-experience design and accessibility for online services.
