Victoria Legal Aid is seeking an experienced Senior Service Designer to join our Service Design and Innovation team in Melbourne.
This is a 12-month position focused on improving client experience and access to legal assistance services across Victoria.
As the Senior Service Designer, you will provide expert service design support, strategic guidance and capacity building support to Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) and its partners.
Additionally, you will contribute to evidence-based planning efforts aimed at fostering collaboration to achieve overarching sector-wide outcomes.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country. About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
End-to-end service design experience in government, social or legal servicesDeep expertise in service design with demonstrated capability in design research, workshop facilitation and artefact creationStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders including clients, staff, partners, and government agenciesExperience managing complex projects involving competing priorities and timelinesKnowledge of the drivers of disadvantage and legal need and approaches for engaging diverse communitiesDon't meet every requirement?
