You'll contribute to refining processes and sharing your ideas for department growth and development to the Area Service Manager.We value creative thinking and need solutions-focused individuals who see challenges as opportunities to take us from good to exceptional.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesAs our Senior Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations within our service department, providing outstanding customer support, and supervising our team of service technicians. Please note that though this role has some supervisory duties, there are no significant management duties required. Your duties will include:Provide customer support via phone and in person, assisting with product issue diagnosis and coordinating the repair process.Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and provide quotes as needed, supporting the Service Administrator with quote requests.Supervise and support service technicians with complex repairs and troubleshooting, providing guidance and resources as required.Oversee product installations, ensuring that technicians are well-directed and equipped for efficient service delivery.Supervise and coordinate both in-workshop and on-site repair workflows, ensuring efficient management and quality control of all service activities.Identify and recommend spare parts required for repairs, ensuring timely procurement to avoid delays.Communicate repair details and requirements to the Service Administrator for funds, spare parts, and scheduling.Maintain high workshop standards by ensuring a clean, organised, well-stocked, and safe environment, including responsibility for inventory control.Collaborate with the 2IC (Technical Support Office Supervisor) to allocate resources effectively and oversee the scheduling of technicians for service and repair tasks.Additional duties as required.Qualifications & ExperienceAny relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications would be advantageous but not essential.2-4+ years in a Service Coordination or Technical role (preferably supervisory role).Exceptional customer service, written and verbal communication skills.Familiarity with troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues.Experience with Inventory and logistics management.Experience supervising or leading a team (desirable but not essential).Experience overseeing multiple tasks or small projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient workflows and quality outcomes.Ability to prioritise tasks, manage resources, and oversee repair processes effectively.A proactive approach to troubleshooting issues, both customer-related and internal, to support the smooth operation of the service department.At Motobility, we treat our team members with care and respect.
