Position: Senior Security Supervisor
Location: Cooma & Snowy 2.0 Project Sites
Reports to: Security Coordinator
Direct Reports: Security Officers (30+ guards across multiple sites)
Are you a highly experienced security professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a Senior Security Supervisor to oversee our security operations across multiple sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and excellence in service delivery.
As the Senior Security Supervisor , you will be a key leader, stepping in as the Second-in-Command to the Security Coordinator and ensuring smooth day-to-day security operations. Your role will involve supervising a large team of guards, addressing performance and compliance, and providing leadership in complex security situations. This is an exciting opportunity to grow into a more strategic role while maintaining operational control.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee security personnel across multiple sites, ensuring operational efficiency, adherence to safety regulations, and exemplary performance. Act as the 2IC to the Security Coordinator , taking on leadership responsibilities during absences or high-priority incidents. Conduct staff supervision, frontline performance management, and ensure staff training and compliance with policies. Coordinate and manage complex security incidents, supporting investigations, reporting, and client liaison. Manage risk assessments and implement WHS procedures across all sites. Support rostering and workforce management using the Deputy system. Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to security officers, developing a strong team culture. Engage with clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Qualifications & Experience:
NSW/ACT Class 1 or Class 2 Security License (current). First Aid Certificate (current) or ability to obtain. Proven experience in a supervisory security role with large teams across multiple sites. Strong knowledge of Australian security legislation and procedures. Excellent communication and leadership skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
