You'll be working closely with IT teams to maintain robust disaster recovery solutions and support our broader operational resilience efforts. It's all about keeping our systems secure and ensuring we're prepared for any incidents. You will have the opportunity to lead effective project planning and achieve successful outcomes.You will be a part of coordinating and managing the execution of disaster recovery tests and performing thorough risk assessments to ensure compliance with security standards. You'll need to engage with various stakeholders, from technology leaders to senior management, to communicate security risks clearly and recommend actionable solutions. Your ability to collaborate and present insights will be vital in helping us enhance our security posture and support our mission to improve the liveability and prosperity of NSW.Demonstrated experience in security disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) processes and procedures with real-world applicationAbility to lead effective project planning and achieve successful outcomesOutstanding stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes.Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in technology crisis and emergency management, and the ICT operations recovery and resiliency needs of complex organisations.Strong understanding of the information security, risk management, governance, business continuity management and business resiliency issues and threats impacting a complex organisation.Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and adapt to evolving situations.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to contribute to group efforts and support colleagues in achieving objectives.What is an essential requirement:Relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant relevant industry experience.About usThe Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) improves the liveability and prosperity of NSW.
