We're seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst to join our team responsible for leading the security strategy and security support for CPL Group network, infrastructure and systems providing SME expertise to innovative solution design.
About the role: In this role you will be responsible for:
Lead the CPL Groups Cyber Security framework and implementation ensuring alignment with standards and frameworks required by key third parties.Establish security monitoring across the CPL Group ensuring monitoring and reporting align with current threats and exposure.Understand the cyber security threat landscape and CPL Groups attack vectors and vulnerabilities.Evaluate and recommend security solutions, conduct risk assessments, and implement measures to mitigate identified risks.Lead the enhancement and remediation activities across the security systems.Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of work, standards, processes, and methodologies, especially regarding the ISO:27001 framework and SOA in place at CPL.Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Actively participate in all cyber security incidents including, leading root cause analysis and remediation activities.Proactively seek to understand the objectives of CPL's Strategy (and Technology Roadmap), how they drive and support the business's operating environment and how your outputs contribute to these objectives within the technology and broader business teams.Collaborate with project teams to design and provision security, network and communications infrastructure in a complex, distributed environment undergoing major transition.Manage and monitor security system upgrades, installations, integrations, customisations, configurations and testing new systems and hardware, and help resolve configuration conflicts and errors.Provide mentoring and assistance to other team members.Be an active member in the change process and contribute to the peer review requirements of the Change Advisory Board.Undertake other responsibilities as directed by the GM of IT and other team members when required.Lead the relationship and sharing of information between industry partners such as ACSC.Undertake other responsibilities as required and directed by manager or delegate.So why would I choose CPL? A proactive attitude, ability to solve problems and use initiative to make decisions, plan and carry out tasks without direct supervision.Ability to work together and participate effectively as a contributing member of a team.Displays a high level of business acumen by demonstrating the ability to break complex technical concepts to their alignment of business objectives.Knowledge or experience with cloud and hybrid cloud solutions (desirable).A collaborative approach to developing solutions with other technology teams and the business users.Exposure to security standards, ISO27001.Experience managing, designing, and implementing enterprise security systems.Significant experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining the following applications and systems (SME targets):Network and End Point intrusion detection/prevention systems and tools, particularly Microsoft DefenderMicrosoft Group PolicyNetwork and operating system securityMicrosoft DFSFirewallsScripting in PS, VBS, Batch file/CMDThis position would also be required to complete a NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Criminal History Check (we can help).
