Working with blue Chip clients, with the primary focus on the mining and mineral sands sector, but also manufacturing, utilities, oil and gas industry sectors.YOUR ROLEOur client is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Control System / SCADA Engineer to join their growing team. As a key member of their engineering group, you will take part in designing, developing and maintaining SCADA and Control systems for our innovative projects within the mining and mineral sands environment, from greenfield sites to existing infrastructure. You will engineer control system projects including developing and reviewing specifications, PLC/SCADA code implementation, testing and commissioning. Delivery of the works are as per client standards. Some travel will be required to site for implementation, testing and commissioning as required. Process Control System CS experience will be highly regarded and will provide added value to your position as a lead in the team.Other key areas will be:Contribute to the end-to-end design and development of (PCS) SCADA / Control system projectsConfiguring SCADA systems for Greenfield sites, from architecture, design, standards development, deployment, testing & commissioningCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems into overall project architecture.Provide technical leadership and undertake hands-on software development.Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and optimisation for continuous improvement.ROLE REQUIREMENTSYou will be a dynamic and proven lead, able to mentor and guide junior engineers to foster skill development and team success, as well as collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to technical solutions.Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.Proven experience in designing and implementing control systemsStrong proficiency in controls (PLC, DCS, RTU)Strong proficiency and experience in SCADA systems / Citect/Plant SCADA, FactoryTalk View, System Platform, Inductive IgnitionRight to work within Australia – Ability to travel in line with role requirementsREWARDS:Part of a growing, dynamic and innovative teamCompetitive salary package - $190-$200K base plus SuperExcellent Perth office location – 10 minutes from CBD / onsite parkingAPPLY NOW with a current resume and cover letter or call Michael Redhead – 0435 891 103 to discuss this sensational opportunity in more detail.
