Are you keen to work on native and improved pasture research projects related to extensive livestock production in Queensland?As our Senior Scientist (Pastures), you will:
Design, lead and implement native and improved pasture research projects related to extensive livestock production systems in Queensland, including development of funding applications.Organise and participate in field work related to grazing land management research, development and extension on commercial livestock properties and departmental research facilities and undertake extended periods of field work as required.Lead the publication of high-quality pasture research project reports, peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, media releases, newsletter articles, technical notes and other extension materials arising from project outputs.What we are looking forWe are seeking the best-suited candidate for the role.
