As our Senior Scientist (Pastures), you will:
Design, lead and implement native and improved pasture research projects related to extensive livestock production systems in Queensland, including development of funding applications.Organise and participate in field work related to grazing land management research, development and extension on commercial livestock properties and departmental research facilities and undertake extended periods of field work as required.Lead the publication of high-quality pasture research project reports, peer reviewed scientific journal articles, media releases, newsletter articles, technical notes and other extension materials arising from project outputs.What we are looking for Assessing your eligibility and suitability to fulfill the role requirements (including, where relevant, the way you carried out previous roles).Evaluating your potential contributions to the department and how your involvement would uphold our commitment to equity, diversity, respect, and inclusion.Eligibility requirements You will be asked to provide evidence of how you meet the eligibility requirements during the selection process.
