Senior Scientist (Pastures)

As our Senior Scientist (Pastures), you will: Design, lead and implement native and improved pasture research projects related to extensive livestock production systems in Queensland, including development of funding applications. Organise and participate in field work related to grazing land management research, development and extension on commercial livestock properties and departmental research facilities and undertake extended periods of field work as required. Lead the publication of high-quality pasture research project reports, peer reviewed scientific journal articles, media releases, newsletter articles, technical notes and other extension materials arising from project outputs. Licences and registrations: A current manual 'C' class driver's licence Mandatory qualifications: A Bachelor of Agricultural Science, Applied Science or Science in a field relevant to the position from a recognised tertiary institution or equivalent academic qualifications.
