The opportunity:
An opportunity exists for a psychologist to join their student services team, in a full time capacity in the 'Senior School Psychologist' role. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced psychologist looking for an opportunity to expand their leadership skills. You will be the senior team member, and will use your experience as a psychologist to guide and support more junior team members. You will work alongside other allied health clinicians, education staff, and the school leadership team in your daily role.
Full time position, working 8am-4pmWorking with secondary school aged children, on campus - counselling, assessment, intervention, working with school staffLeadership; opportunities for leadership of small team for experienced psychologistsYou:
You will be a fully registered psychologist with 3+ years experience in your field. Ideally you will have had experience working within a school setting as a counsellor or psychologist - though this is preferred and not essential. You will be a team player, and an expert in best psychological practises for adolescents within your care.
Relevant tertiary qualification, and full AHPRA registration3+ years working in a psychology roleWorking with children's check (or willingness to obtain)Educational and development endorsement preferred but not essentialExperience working with young people very advantageousThis position will commence in September, or at a negotiated date for the successful candidate.
