About the role: Tradewind is looking to speak with qualified PDHPE teachers who are wanting to progress their career as PDHPE teacher in a vibrant P-12 Independent Christian college commencing Term 1 2025.
Key Duties: Have a clear passion about the PDHPE subject to inspire studentsWork in a collaborative environmentPlan and implement high quality teaching and learning programsModel and facilitate ongoing formal and informal communication with the School's parent body. Actively promote and model a high level of dialogue with students in their faculty, promoting their courses, responding to concerns, encouraging involvement in enrichment activities, facilitating the best outcomes for students.Model and promote growth and maturity in their Christianity; being an active and current member of a church; attending and leading staff devotions and prayer; and reflecting Biblical principles and application in programs, pedagogy and relationshipsSkills & Experience: Secondary teaching qualification and able to teach PDHPEA strong passion to empower and motivate students in the PDHPE spaceAbility to teach Stage 6 PDHPE, Health and Movement Science, along with Stage 5 PASS is preferredHold a valid and up to date NESA registrationHold a valid Working with Children CheckHave unrestricted working rights in AustraliaAbility to provide contact details for two education-based referencesAbility to provide the contact details from a practicing member of Bible based churchOffering: Stage 6 PDHPETerm 1, 2025 startFull time, permanentOngoing support providedSalary and conditions are consistent with the NSW Christian Schools Teaching Staff Multi - Enterprise Agreement 202, based on experience; $81,800-$122,500 + SuperThe school: The school is a vibrant P-12 independent College located with close access to the M5 and M7 in the growing southwest of Sydney.
