The Opportunity: As a Senior Scheduler / Scheduler, you will be a key player in shaping the future of our operations.
You'll lead business improvement initiatives, spearhead innovative service delivery approaches, and contribute to the success of client-sponsored projects.
Your expertise in data analysis, performance reviews, timetable creation, scheduling, and rostering will be instrumental in driving efficiency and enhancing the quality of our services for our customers.
Key Responsibilities include: Lead scheduling requirements for business growth strategies (e.g., tenders, acquisitions), adhering to project timelines and milestones.
Develop network improvements using specialised software (HASTUS) and demonstrate proficiency in mapping, timetabling, vehicle and crew scheduling, rostering, and data management.
Analyse performance data, summarise findings, and present options for improvement and innovation.
Monitor performance trends and KPIs, developing periodic reports for the Service Planning Leadership Team.
Essential Skills and Experience include: A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, but significant relevant experience will be considered.
Proven ability to manage complex schedules and optimise routes using HASTUS, coupled with a detailed understanding of public transport planning, cost management, and resource allocation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, including experience resolving scheduling conflicts and making data-driven decisions.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and leadership qualities are required to coordinate teams and proactively address potential inefficiencies.
