Engeny is currently seeking a Senior Scheduler with 7+ years of experience to be a part of our passionate and entrepreneurial team.

Key Responsibilities The Scheduler at Engeny is responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, including detailed and accurate resource plans and forecasts for the entire duration of projects. This ensures proper resource allocation and supports the project management team in making informed decisions about expenditure and project delivery risks. Key focus areas for this role include Forecasting, Project Programming, Stakeholder Management, and System Improvements.
Develop detailed study and project schedules based on budgets and scopes of work. Extract detailed information from drawings, material take-offs and scopes of work and develop detailed construction programs. Develop and maintain the project forecast with Project Managers, ensuring compliance with relevant financial approvals. Proactively identify and address forecast cost overruns, working with Project Managers to optimise and refine forecasts. Collaborate with Project Managers on scenario analysis to optimise both budget and delivery control. Quantify potential project change controls and develop contingencies with the Project Manager. Ensure timely compliance with all audit and reporting requirements. Develop and maintain project schedules and accurate resource plans. Proactively negotiate deadlines and resource leveling issues. Develop and implement project scheduling processes and systems, driving improvements, and facilitating effective project management through accurate reporting. Review contract delivery schedules to ensure effective site management and project coordination. Prepare reports and briefs on project schedule performance. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Navigate and address multiple and competing stakeholder interests within the organisation. Engage with project stakeholders, including external consultants, to provide specific inputs for project planning and development. Develop proposals for system enhancements and upgrades to meet the business needs of the organisation. About You Tertiary qualifications at degree level in engineering/project management or extensive equivalent relevant experience. Extensive understanding of project management, program administration, and reporting. Major infrastructure project experience, particularly in Resources, linear infrastructure or large substation and transmission line projects, is highly desirable. Extensive experience using and managing MS Project and Primavera P6 schedules projects. Subject matter expert in managing schedules using MS Project and Primavera P6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High-level negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills (both oral and written). Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to respond to multiple tasks and changing priorities. Ability to use structured problem identification and solving techniques to research problems, identify solutions, and recommend courses of action.
