Role Highlight: Senior SCADA EMS Consultant - Multiple Australian Cities (Full-time)As a Senior SCADA EMS Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through the complexities of energy management systems (EMS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. Your expertise will directly contribute to the advancement of smart grid technologies, enhancing power system operations and integrating renewable energy sources seamlessly.
What You'll Achieve Lead consulting projects focusing on SCADA/EMS systems for utility-scale clients. Facilitate the modernisation of energy systems, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices. Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to deliver bespoke solutions. Engage with clients to understand their challenges, offering strategic advice and practical solutions. Contribute to the development of innovative approaches to energy management and operational efficiency. Your Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science/ Power Systems Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience with certifiable competencies in the SCADA or EMS field Minimum of eight (8) years of EMA/ SCADA experiencewithin the energy sector, ideally transmission. Proven track record in consulting or a similar role, ideally within the utility industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems. Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively across all levels of an organisation. Adaptability and eagerness to drive change within the evolving energy landscape. Relevant tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields.
