About the role: The Senior SCADA ADMS Engineer is an enterprise role that will lead the operational management of the ADMS in Electricity SCADA and RTS systems. The position ensures that ADMS in SCADA and RTS Systems, and associated capability to serve control room operation, fit for purpose, and compliant with technical, commercial, and legislative requirements at all times.
The Senior ADMS Engineer is primarily responsible for leading ADMS operational design, configuration, testing, commissioning, administration, and support of the Electricity SCADA/RTS, including configuration of FLISR, VVC, and DPF.
Your responsibilities will include: Sound understanding of SCADA systems, IT network, and infrastructure. Solid understanding of SCADA, DMS, OMS, SOM, RTU, Comms, FEP, and OSI PI historian configuration. Strong knowledge in SQL and MongoDB to perform complex queries. Ability to construct, amend/modify Python scripts. Exposure and experience with OSII or GE PowerOn Fusion system at an advanced function level is highly regarded. About you: Bachelor's degree in engineering - Electrical / Control System. Distribution Electricity industry background is preferred, in a hands-on OT role. AMDS background preferred. Configuration management of an OT system. Critical infrastructure and application support. Experience in client-facing roles including project and ability to support 24-hour operations. Excellent problem-solving, fault-finding, and analytical skills. Influential and capable of managing expectations of the system and capabilities by providing a clear understanding of the status, capabilities, constraints, and path to value of the SCADA. Highly collaborative with a focus on continuous improvement.
