Duties of the Senior SAP Developer (ABAP / ECC6) Triaging and resolving SAP support queries in a timely manner, providing support to end users, assisting with problem determination and resolution, and where possible, offering training.Writing custom ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) code to develop new functionalities or enhance existing ones.Performing custom development activities, including requirements gathering, application design, coding, testing, documentation, and unit testing.Transforming business requirements into technical design documents and programming tasks, and reviewing and approving design and programming deliverables.Developing reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.Analysing and fixing issues in custom code or standard SAP programs.Assisting with planning for future cloud migration and ERP Modernisation Strategic Project.Skills and Experience Required 5+ years' experience in the development and implementation of SAP (ECC6.0 or higher) solutions.Ability to troubleshoot performance problems within SAP ECC6.Experience with SAP financial modules.Ability to provide testing use case scenarios and assist users with their testing of the new build.SAP FICO/ Accounting knowledge (desired).Bachelor's degree in software engineering or similar (desired).How to Apply Please forward your resume to Ben Cousins at Recruitment Hive by clicking the Apply button, or email your resume to ****** citing Job ID: BC10336.
