Newcastle, Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSWDatabase Development & Administration (Information & Communication Technology)Full timeWHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGAs the Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will administer the Salesforce CRM platform through functions that include user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, and other routine tasks. You will deliver business solutions using Salesforce data, page, and automation tools.You will:Participate in the delivery of Salesforce solutions within an iterative, agile framework with declarative Salesforce development.Ensure technical standards are maintained and adhered to.Lead the resolution of technical risks and issues, provide product support, and problem resolution to minimise the impact of service outages.Understand business requirements, design and implement new processes, facilitate user adoption and support the application 'go-live' in the production environment to ensure successful delivery.Lead Salesforce Major Release reviews for impacts and opportunities.Stay current with latest trends and propose ideas for improvement in our Salesforce platform utilisation.Ensure that Salesforce best practices are being followed (including reviewing Salesforce Health Check and Optimizer) and take initiative on resolution of any issues.Participate in technical design sessions and develop technical documentation aligned with business objectives.Follow and provide guidance through the change advisory and release management processes.Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the Salesforce platform.Mentor and support other team members and provide guidance where necessary.Work closely with business analysts, developers, testers and other Coal LSL staff.Contribute technical expertise to user story analysis to enhance the quality of the solution design for new or existing products.Develop and deliver training programs to ensure users are proficient with Salesforce functionalities and new features.This is a permanent role based in Newcastle.WHY WORK WITH US?As a Commonwealth Government entity that regulates portable long service leave, we are proud of the difference we make in the lives of hardworking Australians. You will be a good communicator who can collaborate at all levels of the organisation.Your background will demonstrate your:Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning applications.Experience with Salesforce Flows, SOQL and creating and maintaining Salesforce objects.Ability to work in a CICD environment using tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines and Gearset or similar.Experience working in an agile environment.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and debugging skills.Adept with work management and defect tracking applications such as Jira.Strong communication skills (written and verbal).You will have a bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, or related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
