Estimators:
1 x Senior Sales Estimator
and
1 x Senior Production Estimator
to join their talented close-knit team in their
Brisbane
office.

Key Requirements:
Experience:
A
minimum of 3 years' experience in residential estimating
for a leading home builder, with a strong focus on high-end projects. Your background should demonstrate a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in these builds, including the complexities of custom designs and premium finishes.
Sales Estimation Expertise:
You will primarily focus on sales estimations, so strong experience in this area is crucial. You should have a proven track record of accurately pricing projects during the sales phase, ensuring proposals align with client expectations while maintaining profitability.
Proficiency in Databuild Software:
Expertise in Databuild is essential for this role. You must be comfortable navigating the software to manage estimates, create accurate bills of quantities, and track project costs.
Team Collaboration:
You will work closely with various departments, including sales, design, and construction teams. Strong communication and teamwork skills are vital to ensure that estimates are aligned with project goals and client needs.
Role Responsibilities:
Accuracy in Bills of Quantities:
Ensure that bills of quantities are complete and accurate, reflecting all materials and labor required for each project.
Control Offsets:
Maintain precise control over offsets to prevent recurring issues in estimation processes. You will need to identify and rectify errors swiftly to ensure efficiency.
Negotiation and Price Management:
Negotiate competitive rates for materials and labour. Regularly review prices to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Accurate Tender and Variation Estimates:
Provide precise estimates for tenders and variations to keep projects within budget and on schedule.
Price File Database Management:
Keep the price file database accurate and up-to-date, ensuring it reflects current market rates and supplier pricing.
Variation Price Book Utilization:
Ensure the variation price book is comprehensive, relevant, and frequently updated to streamline the management of project changes.
Margin Achievement:
Achieve predetermined profit margins at the ordering stage and during handover, ensuring that financial goals are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Timely Completion:
Complete all estimating tasks within the required timeframes, ensuring project timelines are adhered to without compromising on accuracy.

Between $110,000 and $130,000 + super.
