• The internal job title for this role is Senior Sales Generalist.
• As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts.
You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
• Shift times range from 7:00am – 10:30pm (AEST/AEDT) • Hybrid working arrangements may be available once established in the role.
• This position is located in our Remote Customer Meeting Point, adjacent to our IKEA Tempe store.
About this work area As Senior Sales Generalist your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: • Supporting in driving the remote selling of our kitchen's range including generating leads, planning, and purchasing through online chat and phone lines.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences via answering customer inquiries, employing effective communication, problem-solving, and empathetic engagement.
• Prioritising your understanding of our customers' needs and suggest home furnishing solutions that will solve their challenges, including proposing add-on products, working with cross selling, and upselling.
• Utilising your in-depth understanding of the product range and IKEA services to empower colleagues through education, ensuring a comprehensive grasp of the features and benefits of IKEA's products and the array of services offered.
