You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).Shift times range from 7:00am – 10:30pm (AEST/AEDT)Hybrid working arrangements may be available once established in the role.This position is located in our Remote Customer Meeting Point, adjacent to our IKEA Tempe store.About this work areaAs Senior Sales Generalist your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:Supporting in driving the remote selling of our kitchen's range including generating leads, planning, and purchasing through online chat and phone lines.Deliver exceptional customer experiences via answering customer inquiries, employing effective communication, problem-solving, and empathetic engagement.Prioritising your understanding of our customers' needs and suggest home furnishing solutions that will solve their challenges, including proposing add-on products, working with cross selling, and upselling.Utilising your in-depth understanding of the product range and IKEA services to empower colleagues through education, ensuring a comprehensive grasp of the features and benefits of IKEA's products and the array of services offered.As a Senior Sales Generalist you:Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers over calls.Exhibit proficient computer literacy to navigate systems efficiently and input data accurately.Showcase strong problem-solving abilities to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.Thrive in an independent work environment, showcasing self-motivation and initiative.Display resourcefulness in finding solutions and meeting customer needs effectively.Exhibit a genuine passion for design, leveraging it to enhance customer interactions and product recommendations.Drive sales through persuasive communication and a results-oriented approach.
