A rewarding opportunity currently exists for a Senior Sales and Marketing Officer to join our Sibanye-Stillwater Australia team.
This position will be offered as a Working from Home (WFH) role (Melbourne based) in our Regional Office team.
The Senior Sales and Marketing Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the head of Sales and Marketing to enhance Sibanye-Stillwater Australia's position in the relevant concentrate markets.
This role involves maintaining and strengthening relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and collaborating closely with key personnel and the finance department to optimize value through effective management of sales, inventory, working capital, and cash flow.
A primary focus will be on logistics, managing all aspects of efficient contract execution.
Your accountabilities include, but are not limited to: Assist the head of Sales and Marketing with the formulation of the Sales and Marketing strategy.Responsible for implementation and monitoring of the Company's sales and marketing strategy.Contract Execution Manage all aspects of contract execution, including invoicing, shipping documents, Letter of Credit, weights, assays, and various certificates under the guidance and ownership of head of Sales and Marketing.MineMan Manage and monitor all MineMan activities every week.Ensure accuracy and completeness of MineMan records, especially sales invoices, shipment dates, and QPs every week.Freight and Logistics Manage all aspects of the Company's freight and logistics requirements and shipping schedules on a daily basis.Manage vessel chartering every month.Assist with freight rate negotiations.Working Capital and Liquidity Monitor and assist with managing inventory levels.Assist with advance payments, managing related documents including but not limited to holding certificates.Assist with managing and monitoring concentrate sales and marketing.Assist with managing and monitoring Quotational Period exposure.Assist with optimizing concentrate sales cash flows.Other Ensure all reporting requirements are met and maintain accurate records to meet the standards of the Company, in compliance with SOX regulations.Produce accurate cash flow reports encompassing all sales and freight activities including QP exposure fortnightly or as otherwise instructed.Provide ad hoc sales and marketing and financial reports and conduct analysis as required.Assist with Business Development activities as required.Other sales and marketing related tasks as required from time to time.The ideal applicant will possess the following: Qualifications: Tertiary education degree in Marketing, Accounting, Shipping, Finance, or another related discipline.Experience: Experienced in Marketing, Sales, and Logistical roles (5+ years' experience working in the mining industry).Legal: Medically fit to work in the specific business area.Clear security screening record per region.Ability to travel (if required).Benefits of working at Sibanye Stillwater Australia: Competitive remuneration with performance-based incentives.Salary packaging.Part of a multinational mining and metals processing group.Applicants interested in exploring this position are invited to apply with details of working history and qualifications using the "apply for this job" link.
