M1 Pacific Motorway extension to Raymond Terrace – Heatherbrae Bypass The 15km M1 Pacific Motorway extension will enhance transport in the Hunter region and improve travel between Sydney and Brisbane. Seymour Whyte will deliver a 5km northern Heatherbrae bypass from Tomago to Raymond Terrace, opening in mid-2028. This includes dual carriageways, a new interchange at Raymond Terrace, realignment of Masonite Road, and bridges over Windeyers Creek and at Masonite Road and Raymond Terrace.

About the role: Compliance & Knowledge: Stay current with all Seymour Whyte policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.Safety Mentorship: Mentor site personnel to enhance workplace health and safety.System Support: Assist the Project Manager with systems, plans, procedures, and strategies.Risk & Solution Management: Identify and address safety risks, and provide timely advice and solutions.Incident Management: Conduct site inspections and audits, investigate incidents, and manage injury rehabilitation.The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience: Demonstrate leadership qualities and be a passionate safety champion.7+ years' experience in a similar position in the Civil/Construction or relevant industry.Demonstrated high regard and understanding of safety principles.Ability to develop a good rapport with site staff (including Leading Hands, Supervisors, labourers, subcontractors, Site Managers, etc.), management, client representatives and auditors.Intermediate to advanced computer literacy skillsCurrent C-Class Driver's LicenseSeymour Whyte is an Equal Opportunity Employer and we encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds, including Veterans.
