And these essential service activities are supported by a range of innovative products and services delivered through our Yurika brand.About your new role:As the Senior Safety Advisor in the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) group, you will be responsible for working with the business to manage and deliver safety related projects and initiatives to support business performance. This will be done by working independently and collaboratively to propose strategies, research, plan, project manage, and lead the implementation of safety related standards, processes and practices. You will be the health safety and environment business partner for our remote and embedded generation arm of the business. The role will have you influence both management and industrial partners in safety related process outcomes and will manage projects.Additionally, you will support HSE contractor management processes, which may include onboarding contractors and evaluating contract management systems. You will also act as a safety subject matter expert (SME) to leaders and key stakeholders. This role does have an element of travel involved, so you must have a willingness to travel intrastate and interstate when required. The level of travel will depend on projects and where they are based. The position has been evaluated as Professional and Managerial Grade Two (PM2). The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the successful applicant's knowledge, skills and competencies that are required in this position. Salary sacrifice options available for novated leases for personal use.About you:In addition to your degree qualification in Health, Safety and Environment or Project Management (or related discipline/demonstrable experience), you also have strong working knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, Codes of Practice, and Australian Standards.Your communication skills and ability to manage and collaboratively work with stakeholders effectively, coupled with your ability to work autonomously and self-motivate will stand you in good stead. You hold yourself and others to account, and can negotiate and problem solve effectively.
