What's so exciting about this role? Reporting directly to the Group Head of Enterprise Risk, this Senior Risk Officer will operate with a high degree of autonomy and independence and will provide high quality advice in relation to operational risk, governance and issues management, and functional support for the Group Head of Enterprise Risk and the Group Chief Risk Officer, and other relevant internal stakeholders

Proactively manage issues and incidents, including root cause determination, creating creditable action plans to address issues and where required ensure that the business is progressing agreed remediation activities.Leading a healthy risk culture via team member education and proactive engagement with the business, including internal stakeholders at all levels.Analysing information/data and providing recommendations to leaders.Periodic reporting on the issues/incident management to the Group Enterprise Risk Management Committee, as well as the Board Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee.Work closely with internal business units to develop and oversee a system for uniform handling of identified risks.Ensure risk management policies, procedures and practices are integrated across different framework components such as risk assessment and control management, incident and issues management, ongoing monitoring and assurance, and reporting.Monitoring risk and addressing any issues / controlgaps by analysing and implementing projects to improve controls.Maintaining the risk registers to ensure compliance with our legislative obligations, relevant standards, industry best practice and our licences.Operate independently and autonomously with limited oversight and to ensure that operational risks are identified, investigated and resolved in an appropriate manner.Who will thrive in this role? We're also looking for someone who brings:
