You'll be responsible for: Partnering with the business to advise on the Risk Management Framework by collaborating cross-divisionally with L2 and risk framework owners before implementing new controls or changes to the risk framework.Engaging subject matter experts (SMEs) for refresher training and awareness sessions on risk and compliance.Facilitating workshops for risk identification and control assessments in key strategic projects, business changes, BAU risk profiles, and outsourcing arrangements.Facilitating workshops with cross-divisional stakeholders to provide insights on root causes, accountable business owners, risk ratings, remediation actions, and control improvements, supporting timely closure of incidents and issues.Support the preparation of risk and compliance reports and assist during L2 assurance testing and L3 internal audits.About you: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.Demonstrated significant experience in operational risk management role for a complex, matrixed general insurance / financial services organisation.Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.Demonstrated technical understanding of design and operating effectiveness of controls.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, influence, and the ability to lead and grow with the team.What's on offer: Be part of a team that's open-minded, supportive, and genuinely focused on customer outcomes.A sense of belonging in the workplace, where you are welcomed and encouraged to bring your most authentic self to work.An employer that is committed to supporting your work/life balance and is always open to conversations about flexible & remote working.Access to over 10,000 on-demand learning resources and programs, to support you in taking control of your career development.Initiatives to support your financial wellness through selected discounted Allianz insurance products, superannuation matching, salary sacrificing, novated leasing and our referral bonus scheme.The opportunity to take part in our Employee Share Purchase Program - own a piece of your employer.About Allianz: At Allianz, we care about everything that makes you, you.
