Reporting to the General Manager Risk, Insurance & Audit you will take a lead role in driving uplift of Inghams' Risk Management maturity.In this role you will prepare relevant and practical advice for risk owners in both Australia and New Zealand and, working closely with the GM Risk, Insurance & Audit, you will report and steer executive and Board level risk governance committees. Additionally, you will support setting the strategic direction for the Risk Management function across Inghams including developing a strategic roadmap and ensuring compliance with key risk management policies and standards to enable Inghams to understand its internal and external risk exposures, as well as the Board's risk appetite towards these exposures.Key responsibilities:Develop content to effectively enable the Board to set and monitor Inghams risk tolerances and risk appetite.Prepare and present reports for Executive and Board on Inghams risk management framework, and improve the current risk reporting suite across operational, strategic & emerging enterprise-level risks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans.Maintain and embed Inghams Risk Management Policy and associated standards.Complete targeted risk assurance activities to support major projects at Inghams.Train and advise risk champions and risk owners on best practices in risk management and work with internal partners to develop and implement risk controls and treatment plans.Manage and maintain Inghams software as a service risk and internal audit system application.Facilitate risk, business continuity and project risk and scenario testing workshops.Support the annual insurance renewal data collection process and risk transfer decisions.Support the closure of audit findings related to risk management and risk engineering site-based reviews, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of corrective actions.Drive continuous improvement in risk management processes and tools, leveraging technology and innovation where applicable.Key requirements:Minimum 5-8 years' post qualification experience in enterprise risk; exposure to insurance and risk engineering will be highly regarded.Degree in Business or Engineering preferred.Strong working knowledge of best practice risk management frameworks including ISO 31000.Preferred industry experience in food & beverage, consumer goods and manufacturing sectors.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.Proven capability to manage multiple tasks, measure performance and meet deadlines while holding self and others accountable.Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.We're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us; people who want to contribute their best work every single day and continue delivering deliciously good food that's…Always Good!
