RSM Canberra are growing and our Risk Advisory Services team are on the hunt for talented Senior Consultants to deliver Risk, Controls, Internal Audit and Assurance services to government clients.

Senior Consultants at RSM will: Conduct various internal audit, control assurance and risk management consulting engagements simultaneously with numerous engagement team members per audit, including assisting with planning, execution and scheduling staff; Assist in the planning of client deliverables (i.e.
strategic internal audit plan, scope documents); Be responsible for the execution of fieldwork and documentation of findings (i.e.
maintain the audit file); Identify findings and issues, and assist in the drafting of client reports; Assist in business development activities of the firm; Utilise Risk technologies including analytics to provide innovative solutions; Undertake development of team members; and Assist with management and co-ordination of the internal audit team including training, mentoring and methodology compliance.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the following: Experience 2-3 years experience consulting into government with a strong client mindset that prioritises delivery; A strong understanding of risk and internal audit processes and methodologies; Strong communication skills and attention to detail; Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team while self-managing; Knowledge and application of practice development skills; Demonstrate problem-solving and high-quality decision-making skills.
Education Progress towards professional qualifications such as CA, CIA, CISA and similar or at least a commitment to further professional development; Bachelor's Degree.
