About the opportunity As part of the RF team, you will be working with a team of highly skilled RF electronics engineers to solve complex design challenges by utilising modern tools and software. What the role will involve The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
Design, development and prototyping of new RF & microwave components and electronic subsystemsRF line-up budget calculations, modelling and simulations of RF & microwave circuits using software packagesQualification testing and documentation of new products, including Antenna testing and EMI/EMC testingAbility to participate in generation of formal bids and quotationsAbility to deal with customers and present design details and documentations during reviewReview project schedules and meet financial and time constraintsTake part in manufacture and test of modulesProvide Engineering leadership to small multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery of projectsMaintain a focus on producing quality products and either recommend enhancements which will promote customer satisfaction or cost reductionsWhat you'll bring Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electronics/Electrical EngineeringExtensive experience with RF modelling and simulation software packages such as CST Microwave Studio and Microwave Office for RF line-up budget calculations, modelling and simulation of RF & microwave circuitsExperience with software, such as Altium or equivalent, for schematics and PCB design.Experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teamsExperience with a production environment and product developmentExperience in generating engineering plans, design documentation and work-breakdown-structuresExperience in working with customers to understand project requirements and generating specificationsAbout Us L3Harris Space and Airborne Systems is a Brisbane based subsidiary of L3Harris and part of our ICI Division.
