Senior Review Officer

As a Senior Review Officer, you will be responsible for managing review applications to QCAT appeals to the Supreme Court and other litigation matters for the Commissioner of State Revenue.
Your typical day as a Senior Review Officer may include:
Reviewing and drafting correspondence with parties to legal proceedings, legal practitioners, and Court/Tribunal officers. Drafting and peer reviewing legal documents for filing in the Tribunal/Court. Briefing and instructing legal advisors in respect of legal proceedings to which the Commissioner is a party. Engaging with other areas of QRO to obtain information, provide updates on ongoing litigation, and seek approval to incur legal costs. Undertaking research in areas of grant, revenue, and administrative law and procedure. Joining QRO, you will have opportunities for continued learning, growth, and career development.
