We're moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.About the opportunityAs our Senior Retail Customer Service Officer, you'll play an important part in helping Australians service their own businesses, keeping millions of people connected and building community resilience. Every year around one million customers walk into one of Australia Post's 4,400 Post Offices. It's our retail teams who make sure that every experience they have is a great one. And while they do, they're supported by a welcoming team, take part in ongoing training, and are guided on career development opportunities.The Role:Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday's when requiredAnnual salary $74,406+ 12% Superannuation+ District Allowance of up to $7,850+ Air conditioning subsidy+ An extra weeks paid annual leave (5 weeks)+ Post Perks, you'll have access to hundreds of discounts and benefits ranging from discounts on selected Apple products to great deals on hire cars and travel insurance.The purpose of the role is to professionally assist in the management of operations in our postal outlet to achieve objectives, grow profitability, increase productivity and staff engagement, whilst providing consistently high standards of customer service.You'll be:Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needsAssisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenanceHave the ability to develop the skills and expertise of team members having worked in a customer-facing role which required effective and efficient resolution of customer complaintsAssisting with managing back office processes, such as; stock inventory functions, conducting outlet balancing and audit functionsAbout youYou're an experienced retail manager, 2IC or possess strong leadership skills with a track record of staff coaching and performance management. You are friendly, enthusiastic and a reliable personality who loves working in a team environment.
