Senior Restructuring Accountant

Lead Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Restructuring Accountant to join their team in Brisbane. As a key member of the Insolvency and Restructuring team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business recovery unit with accurate reporting and stakeholder communication.
The ideal candidate will have advanced-level accounting experience, with a strong background in restructuring and insolvency accounting. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day issues on formal restructuring engagements, including trade-on management, receipts, and payments, and assisting in advisory, informal engagements.
Key responsibilities will include:
Compiling information, drawing conclusions, and making recommendationsBuilding and developing relationships with clients, including promoting the business restructuring offeringEnsuring all working papers are accurate and the file is maintained in an appropriate mannerEnsuring investigations are completed and any identified contraventions are reported on a timely basisTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Work experience in a similar role from 2-4 yearsDegree-qualified in the relevant areaCA or CPA qualificationAbility to work as a team and independently as requiredStrong communication with clients and team members to ensure strong relationshipsHigh attention to detail due to the sensitive nature of the work
