About the role We are seeking a dedicated Senior Resource Recovery Project Officer to join our Resource Recovery team and play a key role in the delivery of city-wide organic waste collection services.
Your main focus will be on project management for the delivery of key waste projects helping community to improve sustainability.
Some of your key responsibilities will include: Provide project oversight and coordination Monitor and evaluate project performance Be the interface between the public, council stakeholders and elective representatives Manage organic waste contracts Prepare council briefings and reports to State Government View the position description for more details about the role.
About you To be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Environmental Engineering, Waste Management, Business Management and/or substantial experience in project management Experience in waste management and resource recovery Skills in data analysis Stakeholder engagement and public education/community engagement experience is desired Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership About the benefits This is a full time fixed term position until April 2026 at level 6 with a salary commencing at $100,533 plus 12.5% superannuation.
