This is a full time position, based on a FIFO 8/6 roster.Accountable to the Superintendent: Resource Development, you will be accountable for supporting and delivering the resource development processes, to ensure consistent and predictable delivery of the mineral inventory to successfully deliver the mine plan.Accountabilities:Developing and expanding the resource base of the underground mineManagement and coordination of a team geologists to ensure performance to planContractor managementMedium term planning, budgeting and scheduling of the underground worksDiagnostic analysis of data to track performance to plansCoordination and management of drill programs, core logging, geological interpretations and ore domainingHigh level project work and report writingMonthly/Quarterly/Annual report submissionsContinuous improvements and updates to processes and proceduresTraining, coaching and mentoring staffStaff performance reviewsCompleting all tasks in accordance with all relevant safety instructions, procedures and rules, and the Duty of care for employees as legislatedAbout YouPeople are at the heart of everything we do. To be considered, we would like to see you have:A relevant tertiary or postgraduate degree in GeologyExtensive experience within a geology discipline, working in active mine environments.
