You will be tasked with preparing precise and competitive cost estimates for residential construction projects, from the initial planning phases to their completion.
Contributing directly to our ability to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget while collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects maintain our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
You are a strong communicator, negotiator and collaborator, as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders and consultants.
Organisation is a strength as is the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.Key Responsibilities Project Evaluation: Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand project scope and requirements.Cost Estimation: Develop comprehensive estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor tasks, grounded in meticulous analysis and market research, ensuring minimal discrepancies.Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination: Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve competitive and cost-effective solutions.Budget Management: Develop and maintain project budgets throughout the construction process.
