We are seeking an experienced administrative professional, ideally with a background in grants management, to join our team.

Key Responsibilities Co-ordinate the Funding Application Review process annually within agreed parameters.Manage Grant Review Committees and provide secretariat support (e.g.
minutes, agendas, etc.
)Work with the broader Research Team to co-ordinate and implement an annual research grants funding calendar.Manage existing or establish new relationships with key external stakeholders including academics, funding agencies, and consumers.Maintain accurate records, draft reports and ensure that funding guidelines and associated materials are kept up to date.Provide induction for new researchers to build engagement with, and an understanding of, the research program.Develop and continuously improve operating processes and procedures.Work collaboratively with other members of the Research Team, the broader Health Research & Innovation (HRI) Teams, and other internal Heart Foundation Teams (e.g.
Philanthropy, Marketing).Let's talk about you: To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience in the coordination and administration of a program where you have developed and implemented operating processes and procedures, preferably in a health or research setting.Demonstrated ability to plan and manage an annual work cycle.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.An ability to engage effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.Experience in managing consumers or volunteers in a research context (desirable).Experience using data management systems (desirable).Understanding of the research and/or research management sector, preferably in a research funding context, including governance, compliance, and processes (desirable).About us For over 60 years, the Heart Foundation has been the trusted peak body working to improve heart disease prevention, detection, and support for all Australians.
