This position is for the Australian Dementia Network (ADNeT) Registry, a national clinical quality registry to drive continuous improvement in quality of care and patient outcomes from the time of diagnosis with dementia or mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
Clinical quality registries are tools that measure variable practices which can then be benchmarked across the sector and against evidence based best practice guidelines.
The ADNeT Registry has been developed as part of the broader ADNeT initiative, a multi-institutional consortium of dementia researchers and clinicians.
The ADNeT Registry is supported by funding from the Australian Government, Department of Health and Aged Care, under the National Clinical Quality Registry Program.
The registry captures data on people newly diagnosed with dementia or MCI from the time of diagnosis.
The ADNeT Registry has continued to expand with 74 participating sites across Australia and nearly 6000 participants recruited into the registry.
Our participating sites include multi-disciplinary memory and cognition disorder clinics, other specialised dementia and MCI diagnostic services, aged care outreach services, and single-discipline physicians (e.g., geriatricians, neurologists, and psychiatrists).
