Menzies is looking for a Senior Research Officer to lead the coordination of in-country consultations and stakeholder engagement. If this sounds like you, join our team to help make a difference. The Role: The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for updating the previously developed Option Assessment Tool (OAT) to incorporate new tools for vivax malaria radical cure and explore options to expand the scope of the OAT to support other non-vivax malaria specific complex health policy decision processes.
You will be responsible for coordinating and leading in-country consultations and to use and implement the OAT in at least three countries across the Asia Pacific region and also develop an evaluation framework to assess the impact of the OAT in national policy decision making and conduct an end of project evaluation.

You have:
A PhD in a relevant health-related field or equivalent work experience.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to develop relationships and work collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders from varied backgrounds.Demonstrated expert knowledge in research methods relevant for this position (e.g. literature reviews, delphi-process, qualitative research methods).Demonstrated understanding of malaria epidemiology, health system strengthening and/or health policy development.Please see a full list of primary responsibilities and selection criteria in the position description.
