Salary Package: $102,653 - $107,795 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Part-time (up to 17.5 hours per week), Fixed term (up to 8 months)
Position Overview The Centre for Gambling Research (CGR) in POLIS: the Centre for Social Policy Research invites applications for a Senior Research Officer with strong qualitative research skills to work closely with the lead researcher to support the successful delivery of the project 'Family and domestic violence and gambling harm: Developing the evidence-base for prevention programs and intervention services in NSW'. The Senior Research Officer will provide high level research support, liaise with government and service stakeholders, assist in the study setup, run co-design workshops, and undertake interviews.
The Centre for Gambling Research (CGR) is a multidisciplinary research centre specialised in generating a robust evidence-base for practice and policy to reduce gambling harm. CGR seeks to promote and engage in rigorous academic debate and public discourse around gambling, and gambling harm including its impacts on families and the broader community.
