You will work in collaboration with the Department of Health and Aged Care on the multi-agency project "National Palliative Care Coordination" (NPCC).
The NPCC aims to improve coordination between primary care and palliative care by improving the recognition of palliative care needs, ensuring accurate and timely referrals to specialist services, and identifying barriers to primary palliative care.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and overall coordination of the project, ensuring its successful execution and alignment with project objectives.To be successful, you should have completed a PhD in health or related field, with proven academic experience in research.
You will have demonstrated research skills, including but not limited to literature review, qualitative and/or quantitative data management, statistical analysis, research project coordination and publication.
Additionally, you will have experience in research project management, coordinating research teams, collaborating in multidisciplinary or multi-agency research, and engaging in impactful research outcomes.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential, including the ability to consult, negotiate, and interact effectively with academic and clinical staff.
