The Senior Research Environments Specialist (Geophysics) manages digital environments to support NCI's geophysics software users. They promote community uptake of world-leading data services at NCI.
Key Duties: Lead the development of high-quality services to NCI's geophysics community.Collaborate with other members of the NCI team to develop NCI's geophysics software and data platform.Deliver high-quality documentation and specialized training materials.Develop and maintain high-quality analysis workflows.About You
You will have a background in research computing in geophysics, expert knowledge in HPC, and excellent collaborative skills.
Mandatory: Relevant experience in scientific data and HPC.Working knowledge of international scientific standards, data tools, and utilities.Experience in data analysis software and data workflows.About the Team
The NCI's HPC and Data Innovation team provides expertise in data management, high-performance computing, and software engineering to users of one of Australia's leading peak computing facilities.
