School of Agriculture and Food SustainabilityFull-time, fixed-term position through to end of 2026Base salary will be in the range $78,944.40 - $87,750.37 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5)Based at our St Lucia CampusAbout This Opportunity The Senior Research Assistant provides technical research support and subject matter expertise in support of food and beverage product development, including benchtop prototypes and product shelf-life study.

Key responsibilities will include:
Conduct benchtop experiments, pilot-scale trials, and shelf-life studies to develop and support innovative food and beverage products.Manage research equipment, protocols, and resources while ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient operations.Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation, including funding and ethics applications, to communicate research findings and progress.Support team activities, including literature reviews, routine administration, and data analysis throughout the research cycle.About the Food and Beverage Accelerator Australia's Food and Beverage Accelerator (FaBA) is a $160 million initiative to boost growth and innovation in the food and beverage manufacturing sector.
