Senior Research Analyst, Queensland Treasury

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Plan, coordinate and lead criminal justice research and evaluation projects using appropriate research methods.• Lead project teams and manage activities to ensure outputs satisfy QGSO standards for integrity, accuracy and timeliness based on quality principles and methodologies.• Provide high level technical advice, information and support to clients and senior officers on complex diverse issues, including those related to criminal justice reform.• Exercise judgement to satisfy client requirements, identify trends and manage competing priorities.• Represent the Office at state/commonwealth conferences, internal/external meetings, and interdepartmental working groups as required.• Develop and maintain positive working relationships between internal work groups, academia, and other government and non-government stakeholders.• Mentor and/or support the professional development of team members.• Prepare complex reports, submissions, briefing notes, commentary, presentations and correspondence for various audiences, including general public, policy officers and senior officers.• Prepare detailed project proposals and agreements for the provision of research services.
