We are seeking a business writer who can produce major news stories in Australia and India, coordinating with reporters and maintaining a set of contacts and sources.
Role Summary The role requires a keen news sense combined with knowledge of the debt finance markets, covering debt and equity finance, project progress updates, and general market-related stories.
We produce daily news content and a bi-weekly digital/print magazine.
What You'll Be Doing: Write stories on the project finance markets for the PFIe daily news service and the bi-weekly PFI magazine, including exclusive and well-informed market stories.Write feature-length stories for PFI and procure outside features.Work with the data collection team on project finance data.Oversee the full life cycle of projects, ensuring accuracy and speed in accordance with company principles and standards.Become an expert in asset classes and the project finance market, serving as the go-to person for the Australian and Indian project finance market. What You'll Bring: We require a reporter experienced in covering business and corporate finance news with the ability to produce exclusive and in-depth reports.
Excellent writing and analytical skills, along with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines, are essential.
Proven experience in reporting on the construction sector or debt capital markets is preferable, but a strong news sense is the main requirement.
Proven organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills will be an asset.
