We are looking for someone who will be able to quickly understand and absorb new concepts, acquire skills on the job, and enjoy a challenge. Depending on the candidate, the position can be a 12/24 month contract or a full-time position.This position will be based in Canberra, Australia.Duties and Responsibilities:Processing and analysis of geospatial data, including very high-resolution imagery and GIS dataUse of remote sensing software for analysis and output generation of geospatial productsSupervise and mentor a teamParticipation in key Industry forumsSupport Geospatial Intelligence in various marketsPro-active Business Development of our products and servicesDevelop and close Business OpportunitiesOther duties appropriate to the position as requiredDesired Skills:Working knowledge of disciplines including satellite imagery, GIS and open source dataUnderstanding of geospatial systems and technologiesProven track record for successful project managementExcellent attention to detail, self-motivation, initiative and capacity to learnGood communication skills, a mature attitude and good interpersonal and client service skillsA strong work ethic with a proactive approach to opportunitiesAn ability to be a self-starter and problem solverQualifications and Experience:Must have completed a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant experienceMinimum 3 years' experience working in a similar roleHow to applyWe do not expect applicants to have all the skills listed above.
