We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Banker to join our team, specialising in the Professional Services sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of our commercial banking clients, with a focus on providing tailored financial solutions and fostering long-term relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a well-established footprint as a commercial banking relationship manager, combined with advanced financial expertise and a passion for business development and credit risk management.
Key Responsibilities: Client Portfolio Management: Manage and expand a portfolio of key business clients within the Professional Services sector, ensuring the delivery of personalized banking solutions and exceptional service.Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with potential clients, referral partners, and stakeholders.Strategic Relationship Management: Leverage advanced relationship management skills to build and nurture long-term, trusted partnerships with clients, aligning banking products and services with their strategic objectives.Credit Risk Management: Proactively monitor and manage credit risk within your portfolio, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and maintaining a strong risk profile.Financial Expertise: Utilise your advanced understanding of financial products, business/commercial practices, and banking services to provide strategic advice and solutions to clients, supporting their growth and financial goals.Market Insights and Solutions: Stay informed about market trends and industry developments, offering relevant insights and innovative solutions to clients to drive business growth.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of products and services, providing clients with a comprehensive and integrated banking experience.What's in it for me? What do I need? The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Commercial or Corporate Banker, with a strong track record in managing client portfolios.
You will possess advanced financial expertise and a deep understanding of banking products and services, particularly those relevant to the Professional Services sector.
In addition, you will demonstrate strong business development skills, with the ability to identify and capitalise on new opportunities for growth while maintaining a keen awareness of market trends.
A solid grasp of credit risk management principles and practices is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively and build long-term, trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
The candidate will be proficient in business and commercial practices, with the capability to tailor banking solutions to meet the unique needs and objectives of each client.
They must also be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve business goals and drive success.
