Location:Provides advanced clinical leadership and professional support to Psychologists working at the Community Rehabilitation Unit (CRU), ensuring that evidence-based practice is provided in accordance with organisational policies and the professional code of conduct of the Psychology Board of Australia.
The role: Provides advanced clinical leadership and professional support to Psychologists working at the Community Rehabilitation Unit (CRU).Participates as a member of the Clinical Leadership Group at CRU in the provision of strategic direction, development of clinical policies, and evaluation of rehabilitation services across the continuum of care in Southern Tasmania.Provides consultancy in specialist Rehabilitation Psychology services for clients of the CRU and Statton Specialist Clinics and works as an effective member of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.The area: Delivers adult outpatient rehabilitation service working with clients with a diverse range of diagnostic conditions, primarily acquired neurological conditions (e.g.
stroke, traumatic brain injury).Works within an interdisciplinary team (including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Social Work, Rehabilitation Nursing, Art Tutor, Allied Health Assistants) with a focus on client-centered goal setting and rehabilitation planning.Works with clients to achieve their rehabilitation goals in our well-equipped centre and in their home and community.Details of Appointment: Permanent, part time, day worker position working 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding, hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed term full time, part time and casual vacancies. Salary: $123,717 - $134,336 (pro-rata) per annum.
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package and a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum.Please note that access to salaries beyond $130,900 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022.Essential Criteria: Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.Desirable Criteria: Endorsement by Psychology Board of Australia as a Clinical Psychologist and/or Clinical Neuropsychologist.Extensive experience in the provision of psychology services in adult outpatient rehabilitation.Registered as a supervisor with Psychology Board of Australia.The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
