Location:We are seeking a dedicated leader to manage CRU Psychology staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality psychological services to clients. This role involves overseeing team performance, supporting professional development, and maintaining clinical standards.
The Role: Provide and oversee the provision of specialised psychological assessment, cognitive assessment, neurocognitive rehabilitation and clinical psychology services to complex clients and their families/carers referred to Community Rehabilitation Unit (CRU).Assist the CRU Manager in the provision of clinical leadership including human and physical Psychology resource management for CRU and Clinics and with the development and evaluation of systems and processes associated with clinical supervision and performance review for team members.Provide specialist cognitive assessment of clients to facilitate the planning and implementation of their rehabilitation program at CRU.Provide advanced clinical leadership and professional support to Psychologists working at the Community Rehabilitation Unit (CRU), ensuring that evidence-based practice is provided in accordance with organisational policies and the professional code of conduct of the Psychology Board of Australia.Participate as a member of the Clinical Leadership Group at CRU in the provision of strategic direction, development of clinical policies, and evaluation of rehabilitation services across the continuum of care in Southern Tasmania.Provide consultancy in specialist Rehabilitation Psychology services for clients of the CRU and Statton Specialist Clinics and work as an effective member of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.The Team/Area: Deliver adult outpatient rehabilitation service working with clients with a diverse range of diagnostic conditions, primarily acquired neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, traumatic brain injury).Work within an interdisciplinary team (including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Social Work, Rehabilitation Nursing, Art Tutor, Allied Health Assistants) with a focus on client-centered goal setting and rehabilitation planning.Work with clients to achieve their rehabilitation goals in our well-equipped centre and in their home and community.Details of appointment: Fixed term part time, day worker/shift worker position, working up to 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 31 October 2025. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $120,000 to $130,000 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
